Bitcoin’s four-month higher-low pattern explained: Will BTC USD price fall below $75,000 or rebound toward $94,500?

Bitcoin price: Bitcoin’s latest sell-off has brought attention to a price level that could put its four-month pattern of higher lows at risk. The cryptocurrency has continued to hold above previous lows during recent pullbacks, but a fall below the September low near $75000 could change that pattern.BTC USD was trading at $82581 on Friday after falling to about $80000 during Thursday's sell-off.

The cryptocurrency was down about 4% over the previous week and remained roughly 35% below its October 2025 peak of $126,080.According to 24/7 Wall St, the September low near $75,000 is a key level to watch as Bitcoin attempts to maintain its recent price structure.Bitcoin’s Four-Month Pattern of Higher LowsBitcoin recorded a low of $57,717 on June 30.

During its September pullback, the cryptocurrency found support near $75,000. The latest sell-off on October 8 pushed the price down to around $80,000, leaving it above the September low.Live EventsYou Might Also Like:ASTS stock today falls 14%: Why AST SpaceMobile shares are down after SpaceX Spectrum DealA higher low occurs when an asset’s price falls but stops above its previous low.

Bitcoin’s recent pullbacks have followed this pattern, with each of these key lows occurring above the preceding one. However, the pattern could come under pressure if Bitcoin falls below the September level and fails to recover it. The recent decline has therefore put the focus on whether the cryptocurrency can continue to hold above the levels established during earlier pullbacks.

Why Bitcoin’s $75,000 Price Level MattersLuke Davis, founder and chief market strategist at Bull Market Blueprint, identified the September low near $75,000 as an important level for Bitcoin.Davis said he would become more concerned if Bitcoin broke below that level and then failed to reclaim it during a subsequent rebound, as per the 24/7 Wall St report. He also said a fall below the June low would invalidate the argument that the cycle bottom was already behind the market.

BTC USD Faces Resistance Between $85,500 and $94,500Bitcoin also needs to contend with resistance as it attempts to recover, Davis identified a resistance zone between $85,500 and $94,500, where selling pressure has previously outweighed buying demand.Bitcoin’s opening price for 2026 was approximately $87,722, placing it within that resistance range.Despite the recent pullback, Davis expects Bitcoin to finish December above the mid-$80,000s.

He said he was more confident about the direction of the recovery than in predicting an exact closing price for December 31.You Might Also Like:Noah Williams learned C++ at 6 and set a Guinness World Record at just 8: Meet the youngest computer programmerBitcoin’s price action leaves two important areas in focus, the September low near $75,000 on the downside and the resistance zone extending to $94,500 on the upside. So whether the cryptocurrency can maintain its higher-low pattern depends on how its price behaves around these levels.
